For the love if God! ( weird: I was going ro complain about how teething will be the death if me and how horrible it us, but I was instead reminded that if teething us the worst thing we are dealing with in our lives, then we are pretty freaking lucky!)

So, dani finally has 2 molars in the bottom peaking through!!!! Whoop whoop! She will be soooooo excited to know that she can eat more food lol. I hope the other the other ones break through soon. She us not sleeping good, us a grumpy grump and has the worst diapers!!

Yesterday we went to the San Diego zoo. We left the stroller at home and took the backpacks. I think the girls were in them for all if 5 minutes other than walking to and from the car! We had a great time though. Auntie Jo Jo asked dj what her favorite animal was and dj tells her it was the Billy goat!! It was obvious what part was dani's fav: the pond that shot water over the bridge she was standing on. Nothing like driving 2 hours to one if the worlds top zoos that is full if reasly coil things like; watching the polar bears eat and then go swimming, or watching the elephant go into the water and spray itself to cool down, nope we like the stuff we could go see down the block!

Poison Control

Well, I guess it was bound to happen, I just thought it would be later than sooner. Today I made my first and hopefully last call to poison control. Little muss dj took her new bottle if vitamins out if the fridge, found a corner and started chugging away. Honestly: what is a momma to do? Well thus momma is now locking up the fridge!!!!

So poison control was extremely Nice and helpful. Luckily the vitamins do nit have iron and she would have had to drink 19 ounces, not the 4 she drank. Whew

After our little ordeal we went with my moms group to tanka farms for a watermelon tour. It was a blast!!!!!! We rode in a trailer pulled by a tractor around the farm stopping to eat freshly pocked tomatoes beans carrots squash zucchini cantaloupe watermelon and other stuff. It was soooooooooooo good! Dj loved the tomatoes the most and dani liked the corn and watermelon. Both girls were a sticky mess!!

At the farm they did a presentation on how to know if a melon is ripe. One of the ways us to check it's belly button. This caused a bit if confusion and dani thought they meant fir her to show her belly button. She took it upon herself to walk around with her shirt up showing all 50+ people her belly button

Sunday School

Today I had a self realization that hit me like a tin if bricks: I am the queen if excuses. This came as a surprise to me! I know I am pretty good at manipulating (thanks dad), but I did not realize I was so goof that I can manipulate myself using my excuses.

Here is the one that shine the light on it;

We have nit been to church in quote a long time. I always want to go, but now Neil works on Sunday's so we can't. I can't take the girls by myself because they will Never be still and quiet for an entire sermon. I could it dj in sunday school but she has never stayed the full hour. Then I would be stuck with both girls. I can't pit dani in Sunday school because she is a baby. I don't let them leave my side until they are16 lol. I also can't go because we want to meet my niece as soon as she arrives. That means I need to keep my girls healthy not expose them to potentially sick kids!

It was about thus time I gut the brick wall. I swear I could picture God looking at me like I was an idiot saying that I won't get to heaven by having germ free kids lol.

Needless to say,I loaded up the girls and we went to church!!! Both girls went in pretty easy. I was w wreck. I went into church and kept staring and checking the buzzer. It was horrible. I am such a dork when it comes to leaving them!!!

I was pleasantly surprised that I did nit get buzzed for 30 minutes!!!! I figured it was dj, so when I got the the childcare area I was surprised to find Danica crying. I was even mire surprised that 30seconds later I realized I could hear dj crying too! Aye aye aye. Some boy had a breakdown and my sensitive girls could only stay calm so long.

Well, I am proud if beating my excuses today. Double or nothing fir next week?

Fake Burping

You might think that the Petrie Princeses are all pretty and pink, ruffles and glitter (which they are), but there had arose a new side and I am not sure how I feel about it, I am however site that their daddy is in big trouble!!!

It all started today at nap time. Dani. Was struggling to fall asleep because she was busy fake burping'!!!!!! She thought it was hilarious and was cracking herself (and me) up.

After dani woke up, the fake burps left het so I figured she must be over them. I was wrong. After taking a big drink at dinner she did a real burp which just brought on another case of the fake burps. This time was more fun because she had a big sister joining her. Yes, at the dinner table they sat across from each other fake burping and laughing!!!

How did this happen? I have girls!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dani slept in crib

So last night was princess Danicas second night to sleep in her crib. The first night she woke up a few times. One of those times was for over 3 hours!!! I think these darn teeth are really bothering her, because even after I put her in my bed she still wouldn't sleep. Last night however she was a rockstar and slept the entire night!!!!!!!!

Lizard girls

Dani figured out how to stick out her tongue yesterday. I could nit be more proud! She loves walking around with it sticking out and giving me or dj the occasional lick ha ha. It could be worse, she could be like her bug Sis and run around chasing bugs trying to catch them with her tongue and eat them! No more mixed up chameleon book for her!!!

Ok, so we were having major issues at dinner. Dj was throwing her food and not listening and well,crossing many many many lines. Time out was not working, so I spanked het. Then she tells me mo, so I spanking her again. She got probably 5-6 good spankings before she stopped. I got dani our if her chair about 15 minutes later and what does she do, she goes right over to dj who is in time out and hits her!!!!!!! Honestly, how will I survive with these girls???

Day 9 - Sleep

Write this down: baby girl slept through the night!!!!! Whoop whoop whoop. I felt weird when I wine up feeling rested, I did not know what to do with all the energy!

happy 4th of July

Happy birthday America!!!!! We made sure we celebrated today with A bang! It was our first and praying not our last 4th of July in HB. This place goes nuts!!!!!

The girls and I walked down to watch the parade and luckily were able to sneak onto some people's roped off grass ha ha. We had front row seats and grass to sit on. The girls loved the parade! They were waving and waving and waiving. I am not sure what is going to happen when both girls are in the running for ms America, hopefully they will have a tie lol. They both have the wave. Down and kept it up for 2.5 hours'

While we saw a ton of things in the parade, the cheerleaders were clearly their favorite and the horses a far second fav. When the cheer leaders were there, both girls started clapping and yelling. I am pretty sure I see high school football games in our future!! Neil will be happy lol

After naps, Neil came early so we headed downtown and decided to make a quick stop at the beach. As a reminder quick is not a word that should ever be used in the same sentence as beach when it comes to my fish. Of course we could not keep them away (dani made a mad dash for the water the second I put her down). We decided to go put our feet in. Neil had dani and I had dj. I told Neil do not let her diaper get wet since I did not have any more. I know he heard ne, but 30 seconds later she was soaked! Oh well, we had a blast!!'

Bedtime was a nightmare. I am officially old because I was cursing everyone who was making noise past 7 lol

Bead stuck in nose

Seriously, what is going on? I have two beautiful princess little girls and first they have a shopping cart brawl and now they (dj) sticks stuff up her nose! Girls don't do this stuff! I would have put money on it knowing it was a sure net chase would be the first to get something stuck lol

Dj was making a braclet for auntie jojo and auntie j while I was sewing. She starts saying mom mom mom over and over. She was nit whining just getting a little bit if frantic in her voice. I look at her to see her picking her nose. Now lately this is not an unusual sight so I did not think much about it. Her mom mom mom kept getting mire and more frantic, and I realized what must have happened, but was scared to ask! I am nit gonna lie, I panicked a little inside! I have no idea what to do if you get something stuck in your nose! I yelled at dj to stop picking it while I ran around the table. It was all slowotion as I watched her push it farther and farther up!

Lucky for her, I have nit cut my nails lately and am sporting what some might call a crack nail ( I call it a must have tool!). Using a finger on the outside to push it down and my handy treasure tool, dj could once again breathe!

Week 1 over sleep "training"

I figure I better update and take better notes for my book. There is only so much a sleep deprived momma can remember! So, dani was still waking up numerous times a night. Honestly it is to Many times to even try and count. Anyway, for the past two nights I have not fed her at all during the night! And she has survived lol. Also importantly, so have I ha ha

The first night was rough. She woke up a hundred and one times and would not go back to sleep for anything. I actually ended up feeding her around 430. I did it for good reasons of course!

Second night was amazing. She only woke up 3 times, granted she was awake for 1.5 hours during a wake up, but we will just ficus on the details lol

14 month birthday

Happy 14 month ok'd birthday giant baby!!!! In the past 14 months, this baby has brought me so many smiles. She has also patiently allowed her big sister to give her "loves". Well, up until today she has.

I am loading my Costco groceries into the car and I look back to check on the girls. I hear a lot if yelling but no crying, so I was not too concerned, I just wondered what all the commotion was about. What do I see? I see dj holding a shoe in each hand hitting dani in the head. Dani is lunging her entire body at dj trying to tackle her or something. As I get closer I see dj hair all over the shopping cart cover and quit a bit still in dani's hand!!!!! I did not know whether I should laugh or cry or yell or cheer.........i would not have believed this shopping cart brawl had I nit have seen it with my own eyes.

Book notes. I fed dani around 2 and then 4. She woke up a few other times, but I shhhhhhing her to sleep. We are making progress!

shark bait daddy

Neil is officially a surfer! Whoop whoop. Ok, well maybe not officially since he never stood up on the board, but he tried!!! I thought it would be a good idea to take the girls to the beach so we could play in the sand and watch him. The girls liked the part about going to the beach, but the had a better idea of giving me a work out instead.

I knew I was fighting a losing battle by keeping the girls out if the water, so I finally agreed to let them put their feet in. I think that lasted 2 waves before dj "fell" in. All 3 if us ended up soaked which was awesome since I did not have any clothes or towels!

This wad also the first time I let dj play without holding my hand. She was on her glory running Back and forth and back and forth. There were a few eaves that knocked her in her butt and them pummeled her, but she did nit care. She just laid there and took the beating and got back up when it was over! Dani was super mad that I wouldn't let her be a free swimming fish. Silly girl has no idea she is a baby!

Poke poke poke (she literally was poking me). Yes dj i guess I do have big boobs. "daddy does not have big boobs he has little boobs and dj and dani have little boobs too!". That's your fun filled fact of the day!

We went and did dani's one year pictures today. Yes we are a little late, but what am I going to do about it now lol. I remember with dj ivthiught it had to be done in the day. Gasp I would never consider doing it a week early it late! Second baby enters the pic and I become that momma lol

Dj is for sure going to be a model. I was chasing dani down the hall and when I got back to the picture room, she is laying there and smiling the biggest and cutest smile ever! She kept looking at the camera and as long as pictures were being taken, she was in her glory! With her genes and current shrimp status, i i think she will be rhe furst suoer model under 6 feet tall lol

Dani has the looks to be a model to, but I don't think she will ever stay still enough to be one haha. The only thing she cared about today was escaping!!!! As soon as I set her down it was off to the races. I was sweaty and stinky and exhausted afterwards!

playing momma pops

The past few days we have been spending a lot of time in the bs guard (if that is what you want to call it). I usually try to wait for it to heat up, but it was 2 against one first thing this morning and I am one who knows when to walk away ha ha

The girls were playing and by playing I mean. Fighting iver the stroller. Finally dani sat in it and dj pushed her. The only problem was the wheels started to bend from the weight ha ha ( it was the doll stroller). I ended up getting my umbrella stroller outside and put dani in it. Dj pushed her forever just like momma pops does. She then sang to her just like momma pops does. I was cracking up. The best part was when dj would stop walking, dani would yell at her and point to keep going!!!

Sleep notes: danu took two really good naps and I did not nurse her down for the night!!!

Sleep baby sleep

We had a first: dani went to sleep without nursing!!!!!! Whoop whoop whoop! I will admit that I am usually against parenting books, but when I am desperate for sleep, I will do desperate things. I have read and studied two books. One in each end if the extreme I think lol. Anyway neither if them worked fir the one night I tried them ha ha but they did cause me much stress. I was/am doing so much wrong according to the books. I am not scheduled, structured, cold hearted enough fir one and I am not attached enough for the other! Aye aye aye

I have decided that I am going to write the next big selling sleep book. It is geared for middle of the road mommas who are not defined into a certain type if parenting type or those that defile being defined ha ha. Dj was my first( and still kind if is) my first experiment and Danica is my second. My book will teach moms how to get the best if both worlds. Yes mommas you can hold, rock, sleep with your baby for as long as you'd like and once you are ready for a change follow these easy steps and you'll be sleeping like a baba (ok I need to get back on track to the blog and stop working in my book. Especially since dani is still in the very early testing phase lol)

Djism: I was in the phone and dj kept trying to talk to me. I ignored her since it was an important call. She looks at Neil and says "I think momma is not listening to me. That is what I think"

Honestly, days like today confirm that I made the right decision to be a stay home mom. We started our day bright and early and headed to the b-e-a-c-h. I used my roller blades for the first time whoop whoop!!!! No one was hurt during my blading either whoop whoop

Anyway, we played in the sand and came home fir naps and then spent the afternoon playing and playing and playing.

So today is what I call copy cat day. It started at the beach. Dani was dumping sand on herself and then threw a little. Next dj threw a lot right at dani. Then dani got a handful and dumped it on her own head. People walking by actually stopped to watch the show!

This afternoon dj hit her head on the table. I was sitting in the floor so I told her to come to me. The entire walk over she is crying so dramatically and then falls into my lap and lays her head on my chest. About 10steps behind her comes baby sis doing the same cry, pushes big Sis off my lap, falls on me and lays her head on my chest.

The best part of copy cat day was playing with dj's baby. She wrapped her up tight and then asked me if I would hold her while she went to get something from her car. I was rocking baby and telling her night night and shhhhhhing her. Dani comes over, takes baby and started loving on her too. Dj did nit want dani to have baby so she brought her back to me and asked if I would watch baby again. She needed to get something out of the car, but could not find the car. Dani gets her trouble maker look, comes and swipes baby and tajes off!

I spent more time in the floor today then I have in awhile. I have missed floor days!!

sleep lady training

I am having the worst day I have ever had since becoming a mom 2.5 years ago. Last night I put into action the sleep lady's sleep plan. I did nit intend to start it until next week, so tonight I fed her to sleep. When she woke up a little later in her crib, I thought now was as good of a time as any to start. Famous last words.

Danica cried fit one hour and ten minutes while u squatted next to the crib shhing her and patting the crib for her to lay down. It was horrible. She kept screaming and reaching out for me like mama I just need you to hold me and everything will be alright. She then woke up at 11, 12, 130,and them 345. The first three wake ups only lasted about 15 or 20 minutes. The last wake up lasted until 515. Dj was up at 530.

Dani woke up around 720. She was starving, but her normal happy smiling self. I stated to think that last night had no effect on her, and it was one if those things that is harder on the mama.

Well, I think I was wrong again. Here it is 330, and other than a quick nap in the car, I have not been able to get her to sleep. I have been projectile puked on 5 times, my bed is soaked , I need to do laundry, the room reeks, and I am dead tired.

I do not judge parents who let their little ones cry. We as moms know our babies the best and know what will and will not work. I think this crying it out is nit going to work for us at this time. I can't imagine having another day and night like this and the bok said it takes most babies two weeks! Dj has watched more tv today then she has all month. Unless I literally want her to turn into a couch potato. I better come up with a new game plan!!!

I think I would rather deal with the frequent wake ups then a sleepless night in a stinky room!

Dani use napkin & garden

Dani might be my giant oversized baby, but she us soooooooooooo dainty! When she eats she almost always takes the smallest bites. She us so good and then she chews and chews and chews. Quite different than her stuff everything I can in her mouth bug sister! Actually now that I think about it. I do not think dani has ate a single bug!!!! Dj was on her millionth bug by 13 months (yes, I will inform her boyfriends about this and I will lie to dani's and tell them the dame lol)

Tonight we went to VHS fir dinner and had a terrific dinner. For the most part everyone behaved. Dsni even used a napkin fir the first time!!!!!! Dj has not even had this first. Dani kept taking my napkin off my lap and then she would wipe her mouth. She thought she was so cool having a clean face!

jojo's house

Pops had an interview with the ATF for his gun license, so us girls got kicked out if the house. That was fine since we had so much to do for the baby shower. We went to auntie jo jos and played!!!!

We had to run to hobby lobby and target for some supplies. It was like 11 in the morning and 90 something freakin degrees out! Do you know what it feels like to load and unload two girls when it is that freaking hot outside? It's miserable!! While I pit one in their car seat, the other one was literally baking in the got sun fit like three minutes. I pretty sure that's how long it takes to boil an egg! I guess some good will come from our heart attack heat strike: the girls know what it feels like to cook inside an over, so I dint have to worry about them climbing into one anymore! (you know, people might really worry about that lol).

We had fun at jos house. The kids barely napped since the most we could keep quiet at once was two of if them. Ha

fly to abq

Aye aye aye. I booked a early flight so Neil could take us to the airport on his way to work. I had to wake both girls up and expected them to sleep on the plane. As always when I plan, I had to overly wild girls. Dani peed through her diaper covering us both in pee. Dj peed on the toliet but some how that got all over her. She also needed to poop but wouldn't so we spent the two hour flight smelling her farts!! Now that I think about it, no wonder no one slept!!!

Auntie j and uncle toad picked us up. The girls greeted them both with open arms. It is obvious how much the girls love them and they love the girls. Dj stayed with uncle toad and every time I looked over, she was giving him big il around the neck hugs for no reason. Dani knew auntie j was a sucker and wanted her to know what she was in fir, so the second she put her down, dani took off!!!!

Everyone was at momma pops house when we got there. It was awesome spending the entire day with everyone. The girls act like they are there everyday and did not have any stranger danger (well, dani does NOT like pops when he has his hat on!).

We found out today that jojo has a baby in her belly whoop whoop whoop

Dani woke up with music in her head, by wake up mean got out of bed because she woke up a LOT last night lol

She started dancing first thing this morning and was still dancing right before bed. She has moved past shaking her booty and shakes her whole body with a good head bob hah it. Is hilarious. I think she must have a song stuck on her head and my guess is that it's baby bulga since dj has been singing it non stop!!!

Djism: daddy wait you left me down stairs with the girls

Dj learned a new thing today ; she learned that dancing and stomping in bubble wrap is a much more effective way to pop the bubbled than just pushing them one St a time

Time out twins

Aye aye aye delaney has a double dose of the terrible twos all of a sudden. Add that to some broken listening ears and a non stop whine and you get FUN ha ha

The girls were playing this morning and dj was getting mad because she did nit want to share, she wanted what dani had, and dani would not listen to her. Any way one thing led to another and she ended up pushing dani.

Now I will be the first to admit that I am a lax mom. I do not have many strict rules or pinishments and I give the girls (dj) a few chances to change her behavior before I get mean. With that being said., hitting, kicking, pushing, etc are not tolerated at all! There is mo second chance it appeal, it is straight to time out.

So, dj had ro go to time out after she pushed dani. She wanted to sit ( I make her stand), she wanted in the brick nit the tug etc. Finally time out was over so she came over to tell dani she was sorry and give her snhig and kiss. Dani. Did nit want to be smothered, so she started pushing dj away. Dj quickly let's me know that dani pushed her so she needed to go to time out. Ugh!!!!!! She had a point and fair us fair, so dani got her first time out today.

we got sleep!!!

Last night miracle happened; dani slept SIX straight hours!!!! praise the Lord God Almighty!!!!!!!! This is the longest she has slept in jet entire life. I just hope it is the start of something good and not a fluke!!!

I would love to have been getting full nights sleeps for a year now, but there is nothing in the world that I would trade for our bed time routine. I love holding and nursing dani to sleep. I love watching jet sleep so peacefully in my arms. It's why I hold her even after she had long fallen asleep. I cherished each night doing the same thing with dj and while it's hard to function on less sleep, the time flies by and a new stage appears in which I can't hold them to fall asleep. I know that time is somewhat nearing with dani and as ready as I am to sleep a full eight hours on my own bed, I am sad to give thus up. So fir now I will keep loving on my sleeping baby and loading up on coffee and energy drinks lol

Djism; I am going to go a big poop like tank so I can have a Popsicle, ma ma ma look I went poop. I went a snake poop!!!!
